- I'm a graduate student in the Masters of Public Health program at the University of Missouri. My emphasis is on Health Promotion and Policy. I received my BA in Psychology from MU in 2006 and took a job working with mental health inpatients at Mid-MO Mental Health center, reponsible for assisting with evaluations and assessments and leading group/social interaction activities. I left in 2009 to briefly run a MO Army Nat'l Guard MP unit while they deployed to Afghanistan and I have previously deployed to Iraq back in 2003. I have 4 cats that graciously allow me to live with them, I love to read, and my guilty pleasure is watching episodes of Star Trek, any series. I hope to follow my MA in Public Health with one in Healthcare Adminstration and then work at a not-for-profit hospital helping to provide the best healthcare possible to the community at large.
